LITERACY INTERVENTIONIST

Available Positions: 2 (in-person/online), 2 (online only)

Status: Open until filled

Start Date: August 15, 2025

Hours: Flexible, up to 30/week; 9 AM - 6 PM

Job Description: These are part-time positions with flexible hours leading to possible full-time employment.

 

Responsibilities

include placement testing, progress monitoring, and structured literacy intervention for individuals and small groups. Sessions occur online, in-person, or with a hybrid of both. Interventionists must also create assessment reports for each of their student-clients. Communication must be maintained with parents regarding progress and other relevant issues as they may arise. 

 

Residency Requirement: Strongly prefer candidates living in California's Inland Empire (i.e., Corona, Riverside, Eastvale, Murrieta, Temecula, Ontario)

 

Qualifications:

  • At minimum, candidates must hold or be within 1 year of completing a bachelor's degree in education, psychology, linguistics, english, or speech and language pathology.

  • Must have completed (by Aug. 1, 2025) Structured Literacy/Orton-Gillingham training with an IDA approved university or independent preparation program (minimum 30 hours, inclusive of all essential components of effective literacy instruction).   

                                                                                                                       

       Preferred independent programs include IMSE (Comprehensive OG and/or                   Morphology Plus), AIM Pathways (Proficient Reading &  Structured Literacy),

       95% Group (Top 10 Tools Standard or IDA), Lexia-LETRS and/or ASPIRE, and                   Wilson Reading System. Official certification in any of these or other IDA-                     approved programs is a definitive plus.

  • ​Experience working with children ages 5-12 years in an educational setting is strongly preferred.

  • ​Must submit to and successfully pass a full screening/background check as a condition of employment. 

 

Salary: $30-40/hrs. depending upon education, training, and experience. 


RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Available Positions: 2 (in-person)

Status: Open until filled

Start Date: August 15, 2025

Location: Corona, CA

Hours: Part-time, Monday - Friday; 25hrs./week for each position

              Morning Shift - 7:45 AM - 12:45 PM

              Evening Shift: 1:00 - 6:00 PM

Job Description: 

The administrative assistant plays an essential role in supporting our team of educators and ensuring that the business of the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. This position is an exciting opportunity for a personable, friendly, and detail-oriented individual who is eager to make a meaningful impact. We’d love to hear from you if you’re organized, proactive, and ready to grow with us.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-desk coverage by managing a multiline phone system, providing excellent customer service, greeting guests as they enter the office, managing incoming/outgoing mail and shipments, and maintaining an organized, welcoming, and clean reception/waiting area. 

  • Provide administrative support to literacy interventionists including filling supply and copy requests, forwarding emails, messages, and other client communications. 

  • Coordinate with the clinic's interventionists to schedule consultations, placement assessments, and intervention sessions. 

  • Assemble, order/maintain supplies for student intervention kits.

  • Maintain filing system, contact database, employee list, and office supplies.

  • Order and oversee food/refreshment deliveries for professional development meetings and parent seminars.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven administrative experience

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitasking 

  • Experience in the use of MicroSoft Office and Google Suite

  • Aptitude for learning new software and computer systems

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Salary: $18/hr.
